My conception of this project began with the condition of disconnect I felt to my surroundings in the midst of a time where we spend more of our time existing in the digital than the physical. I moved to an entirely new city yet feel unrooted in a time of seclusion and stuckness. Taking a walk everyday would be easy enough, but I sometimes find myself lapsed in nervous thoughts making difficult to bring myself out of my apartment. I needed a purpose to my explorations and building this collection became that purpose.
